A delightful small watercolour from the private collection of Margaret Lavender who wrote:

"The painting signed E J Maybery belonged to my grandparents. My grandmother's parents had a boot shop in Commercial Rd Newport not far from where Maybery's parents shop was. My grandfather also served in the 1st WW in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers so I am not sure how it came into their possession.
The picture is approx. 20cm x 13cm."
