OUR EDUCATION IN CAMBRIA HOUSE

In Cambria House we do a good deal of school work, as this is very necessary in these circumstances. When some of us go back to Spain, they may find that the school they used to attend has been destroyed by bombs. And their homes too, may be in ruins.

Here in Cambria House, the class we like best is the carpentry class, in which we make models of ancient galleons, ornaments etc. Once a week we have either football or gymnastics, and every day we have lessons in English, Spanish, Arithmetic etc.

We did not come here to forget what we knew, but rather to learn something more.
