Colin Green is a maritime historian with a particular interest in Coastal Sail. His day job is Works Manager in South East Wales for the Environment Agency. After over 40 years service, he is currently considering giving up this side of his life, in favour of Historical research.

His book 'Severn Traders' was published by Black Dwarf Publications, in March 1999. It contains 180 pages with 200 photographs together with maps and drawings, by the well known illustrator, Edward Paget Tomlinson.
