Did Huxtable Brothers use trick photography to produce this postcard or could the paddle steamer SS Albion travel under Newport Bridge and Caerleon Bridge? Was the water deep enough with the lowish tide in the picture?

Maybe the less convincing postcard of the same steamer passing Newport Castle (below) will help you make up your mind.
