We
are not sure when this painting (left) was done. It would seem to
be after 1936 when Joseph Hennah painted the picture above right.
By the time John Phillips painted his picture the river had claimed
the house nearest us on the right of Hennah's painting. Not content
with that, the river has since taken the next house!
