Taken some time between the
late 40s and late 50s. If you can date it more precisely please
email us. Notice the traffic lights either side of the bridge and
the lorries waiting for them to change. The Hanbury Garage can be
seen bottom centre and pipes are being laid in the field right of
picture.
Using the garage as an indication it would appeaer to be around
1948, however several residents remember the pipes being laid in
the late 50s. |
