Maureen
Moore (nee Chick) kindly sent us this photo. She wrote:
"Second
row up on the extreme right is Geraldine Collins. The girl with
the glasses to the left of her is Frances (Girlie) Rollings,
and in the middle, just a head above the others, Jacqueline
Pope. In the row behind on the left with a dark dress, Veronica
Jones (her father ran the hospital farm) and to the right of
her is Ann Wootton, her family lived in South Lodge and father
was Chief Male Nurse. To their right is Maureen Chick (me) we
lived in North Lodge. In the back row, third from the left,
is Francis (Wiggy) Pitt and on the other side of that pipe,
I think is Tony Bennet."
Brian Hopkins contacted us saying:
"I recognise this photograph that shows my best friend Alan Avery & myself Brian Hopkins situated in the far right corner of this photograph. We are sitting on the floor crosslegged. We both lived at Vale View together near Backhall Street near Cambria House. We both attended the Endowed Infants & Junior schools. I remember going several times to St Cadoc's Hospital Children parties."
