| Hot pies, teas, snacks and hot dogs could be purchased in this establishment in 1960. Nowadays the HSBC bank has taken the place of the café. Never a quiet moment here now, the bank's cash dispenser always seems to have a queue. What a pity the fine window frame has been 'lost'. It is just possible to make out its position in the photo, right. The cash dispenser is where the bottom left hand corner was. Note the trail of white receipts on the pavement! |  |
