Three very detailed drawings of Caerleon. An Internet search has informed us that the artist, Valerie Falla, is a book illustrator. Other than that we know nothing about these pictures. It seems likely they were for inclusion in a book, but which book? Please contact us if you can tell us more about the artist and her connection with Caerleon.
The pictures seem to date from the mid 70s... Doug Burnell Higgs has told us that his mother sold Janet Hughes (the owner of the Copper Kettle) the large teapot which can be seen in the window.
