Photo taken when the business was in full swing. One of the first garages locally to sell Jet Petrol.

The Jet brand was launched back in the 1950s when the supply of petrol was deregulated. Cut price fuel started… The name was inspired by the registration prefix of the company’s first tanker JET 855.

At the time this photo was taken petrol was £1.85 a gallon (about 40p a litre) which dates it to 1990 to 1992.
