The Roman Legion
The Legion was split into 10 Cohorts.
The Cohorts were divided into Centuries.
The First Cohort contained five centuries of 160 'crack troops.'
The other cohorts contained six centuries of 80 men.
The commander of a century was called a centurion.
The centurion in charge of the First Cohort was called the Primus Pilus. He was the best!
