Steve Wilmot sent us this scan of a receipt from Yew Tree Garage in Gasworks Lane Caerleon. He thinks that shortly after this date (23/9/65) Mr Richards moved to the Hanbury Garage. You can read a short history of the Hanbury Garage by following this link.

The MOT cost 15 shillings - that's 75 pence! The car was a 1958 Ford Prefect 'de luxe', and I should think its number plate, 26 ANY, would be worth a bit now.
