Caerleon Arts Festival 2010 - July 2nd to July 11th

The theme for 2010 was Talkwood... the carvers' brief to create chairs for use by story tellers in local schools and the Roman Legion Museum.

This was a second visit for Pencho, Gerard, Don and Yidiz... the results of their first visits can be seen in and around Caerleon.

Five of the sculptors worked in wood, while local craftsman, Doc, carved his chair from stone.

The exhibition field was a buzzing during the last days of the event with exhibitors and live acts. A great success and credit to the organisers, Celf Caerleon Arts.
